The Data Management Canvas is a visual collaboration tool that helps organizations balance the often-competing demands of data privacy, data security, data accessibility, and data quality. By focusing on these four areas, the canvas guides you in defining technological, organizational, and personnel measures needed to both protect and leverage your data assets.
Rather than treating data as a byproduct, this canvas encourages teams to see it as a strategic resource requiring proactive governance. Whether your goal is to refine internal processes, comply with legal regulations, or unlock new value through analytics, the Data Management Canvas provides a structured framework for understanding and improving how data flows through your organization.
